Blizzard will gradually introduce PvP combat in World of Warcraft Classic

Blizzard said last month that World of Warcraft Classic will be rolled out in six phases after it goes live this summer, based on the way-back-when update schedule of the original game. Today it expanded on that with details about its content plan for PvP, which will also follow the original WoW release pattern—which is to say that there won't be a "formal PvP system" in WoW Classic when it launches.

From then on, it's mostly about raw content. The third phase will introduce Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch, while the fourth phase will add Arathi Basin. Blizzard isn't changing PvP with the fifth round of WoW Classic updates, but the sixth phase will bring world PvP objectives in the Eastern Plaguelands and Silithus. When starting to play World of Warcraft Classic game, WOW Classic Gold is a necessary element on condition that you would like to hold a leadership position in World of Warcraft Classic game.

You'll still be able to kill your fellow players, though, and entirely without penalty, because no PvP system means no Dishonorable Kills—until the second phase of Classic rolls around, which will introduce the Honor System and PvP Rank Rewards. Those rewards will be the versions from the 1.12 patch, but won't be easy to get: Blizzard warned that "it will require a substantial time investment to rank up through the Honor System."

The new classic version of the game will be included free to play to anyone with a “World of Warcraft” subscription, which means new players who join the game will have access to the entirety of the “Warcraft” catalogue when opening a new account for “World of Warcraft: Classic” without paying an additional fee. Although the release is a few months away, many excited players have already been granted access to WoW Classic’s closed beta that is currently running. There’s a small chance you can get access to it by going to your beta profile settings found at the bottom of the “Games & Subscriptions” menu under your account settings on Battle.net. There you can check off that you’re interested in participating in betas for WoW Classic.
