Electronics Arts is letting virtual football stars in “FIFA 15” get psyched, or angry, on field just like their real-world inspirations. A new version of the global blockbuster sport game infuses on-screen players with “emotional intelligence” designed to let them show how they feel about missed passes, brutal tackles, teammates, opponents and more. Grass flies from off of the ground realistically when the ball is kicked, one of a few neat visual improvements made to the game. FIFA 15's beautiful game is even more beautiful on the new consoles. Career mode will be immediately familiar to anyone who played FIFA 14, largely because it’s almost exactly the same this time around.

EA have struck pure gold with Fifa 15, the series is back where it needs to be following the few setbacks of Fifa 14, and this year’s additions have taken it to a whole new level. The improved Premier League experience and commentary gives the player a real sense of purpose and occasion as they soak up the atmosphere from the fans, and then the teams take to the pitch where Fifa 15’s new dribbling system can be enjoyed to its fullest.



But EA continually having problems with their servers. Whenever the servers are down, I instantly go to Down Detector to check how many other people are experiencing the same problem. Similar reviews can be seen on the iTunes App Store as well. Hopefully EA will fix these issues sooner rather than later and not continue to ignore them for long. Often times, there are people fuming, similarly to how I am right now. I ran across some funny tweets regarding the same issue, “EA Servers going down easier than Ronaldo inside the penalty area.” There was another gamer expressed their disappointment, “I was halfway through a game on FIFA 15 and the EA servers go down, so not happy.”

Over the Christmas holidays, FIFA 15 players were disgruntled that the servers were down. However, EA has not found a way to give gamers just compensation. EA Sports FIFA has been working with Sony and Microsoft to resolve these issues, but when will it stop? Further comments say, “After I go onto the app it stays on the screen connecting to server, please sort this because I have a very good team and I don’t want to lose it please sort this soon,” and also, “The game was loading fine yesterday. In the morning I woke up and it want connecting. It was just stuck on the loading screen with Messi. Anyone know how to fix it?”
