Auto-Tackling has become much less effective in FIFA 15. In previous versions of the game, your player would automatically stick a foot out if an opponent was dribbling close past. Although this still happens occasionally in FIFA 15, it happens FAR less frequently. In order to counter these changes, you'll need to be ready to hit the tackle button yourself. This doesn't mean that you should spam the tackle button, but just be aware that you will need to manually initiate a tackle a lot more often in order to stop speedy runs. Also understand that this is something that will come naturally with a bit more practice, so you will undoubtedly get better as you play more FIFA 15.
If you are looking to invest in a player, and he frequently doesn’t sell for his minimum value, then you may want to reconsider investing. Under these circumstances it suggests that the player’s actual value is below their minimum, but by how much is predominantly unknown. By investing the risk occurs as you may not even sell the player for his minimum (losing you 5% EA tax if you do), and also because EA may lower the ranges in their next set of adjustments. Play safe, and gauge how many sell by adding several to your Transfer Targets. The first set of FUT 15 Price Ranges Adjustments (March 12th 2015) (including adjustments to Messi, Robben and Neuer) are now live.
I have found that shooting just before keeper is going to commit is the best way to score in one on one situations. Generaly you would like to shoot when you have some space in front of you, the angle is right and you have a decent player on the ball. FIFA 15 seems to have a bigger goal and I found near post finishing very effective as well. sometime its not easy to give your player far post angle before finishing because there is a defender closing down or you will get to close to keeper, in those kind of situations its best to hold down LB and shoot at near post. You can have all of the attacking flair you like, but if you can’t defend, you’re not getting very far. Manchester United will tell you that first hand.
It’s the same on FIFA 15 - to win matches, you have to learn how to stop the other side cutting your defence to ribbons. And it’s usually more of an issue with a players’ concentration and changing your own habits than anything else. Too many FIFA players get carried away and love to slide tackle, bring their own players out of defence and mistakenly leaving gaps behind them. It’s too easy for players to exploit those gaps this year. So the tip is - don’t lose your head. Instead, when you’re faced with an attack filled with pace and flair, make sure you have the correct defender you want to make the tackle with and pick your moment.
FIFA 15 followed suit with this year's game. Players colliding has never looked so good. The physics goodness is not limited to player-on-player sequences. The roll of the ball on the grass and the sight of blades of grass rising and falling appropriately during close-ups is pretty. While there's room for sharpening up the visuals in a few instances, the vast majority of the graphical package is above average. Many FIFA 15 Ultimate Team players insist that there are branches you should bet on: fast players, the silver market, England’s secondary leagues, silver and gold Brazilian players, etc. All of them are apparently very attractive targets because their prices are usually higher. But they are higher not only for who buys but also for who sells. Don’t fool yourself.
Formation is another thing that you should not neglect when building up your team. Make sure that both your formation and players complement one another and then make adjustments accordingly. Building up a team takes up a large chunk of your wealth, but if you’re left with some coins after building up your main squad, go with some cheap substitutes. After setting up everything, try out the single-player mode first. The reason why I’m saying this is because it will allow you to get familiarized with the game and test out how your squad works with your chosen formation.
Even the most energetic teams such as Juventus and Chelsea will struggle to keep energy if you abuse sprint so it’s best to just concentrate on closing down space when you need to. Leave your sprinting button for when your’re marauding the wings on a counter-attack. Over-committing to every every tackle is also a huge issue to avoid. Let opponents have the ball and only put on pressure when you see the opportunity. Sliding should be avoided unless absolutely necessary as well. Defending is a art in FIFA 15 and trumps a well oiled attacking team almost every time.
