EA Sports’ annual FIFA series is great and all – after all, it continues to do well critically and commercially every year – but it is growing a bit long in the tooth. The last major overhaul for the games came back when Ultimate Team was first introduced, and that was years ago. Since then, all we’ve had have been minor iterations on and refinements of the same formula and structure. After meeting the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat Nabanna, Yarza told reporters that they were happy with the venues and other infrastructure in the city to conduct the tournament successfully.

Another intriguing bit is the fact that EA Sports could be looking at a new story mode, or at least a more diverse mechanic for such. Some rumors speak of the possibility that it will take on the same approach as that of the NBA 2K franchise, in which the gamers can work hardly for their way to success. To further add to the hype, EA was said to be looking for a Cinematic Designer that will work on a FIFA game, in which a personality for good storytelling is partially a prerequisite, as per International Business Times. Titles include SimCity , Battlefield 4 and The Sims 3 (still a solid bet if you enjoy having basics like toddlers or Create-A-Style). While Origin Access isn’t running a promotion right now, it may still be worth a look for those who do most of their gaming on PC. The EA Access free promotion runs from Tuesday through to Sunday, Jan. 24. Normally EA Access costs $4.99 for a month or $29.99 for the year. A subscription to EA Access also gives you a 10 percent discount on digital purchases of new EA games, pre-orders and expansion packs. On top of that, it allows you to try new games a week before their formal release date and carries over your progress if you choose to buy the game.
