Whatever you call it, EA would like you to kindly put together the best possible squad you can in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team. Yes, it’s true that you’ve been asked to do this same thing before. For all I know, you actually pulled it off. Congrats. It’s time to start all over again, but that’s alright, because you are up for the challenge, right? There are several chemistry styles available on FUT 15. The first style is the Basic. All players start with this style by default. It is attached to the card. In this case, the overall increase in chemistry applied to a player is based on the assumption that players are operating in a team chemistry that is decent.
Something we’ve recently discovered is that when you confirm your draft selection (after selecting your manager), all the players in your starting XI will keep their original chemistry styles (the ones you selected them with) and the players in your subs and reserves can actually change. You may be asking why we’re sharing this info with you and why it even matters, but this can be used to your advantage. Once you have decided on the starting XI you’re going with, make sure all the players with good chemistry styles (the ones well suited to their position) are actually in your starting XI (forget team chemistry here for a second). All the players that have bad chemistry styles (even the ones that you will be starting), put them in your subs/reserves. Once this is done, confirm your draft (the next step after selecting your manager).
Now go back to the squad edit screen and rearrange your team back to the original lineup you plan on playing with, hopefully you should notice that all the chemistry styles you wanted to keep have remained and a few of the ones you weren’t happy with have changed. This isn’t set in stone and we’ve only actually tested it on Xbox One, but we can confirm that this has worked multiple times. Maybe it’s a temporary glitch/bug, but it’s worth taking advantage of for as long as you can do so. Tournament matches are always single-round knockout matches, and can be played online or as single-player games. Win matches to earn Coins, or take your team to the top and win a Tournament to gain Trophies, Coins, and sometimes even Packs.
Seasons consist of 10 games, playable Online or in Single Player mode. Try to make it through and win the Season or gain promotion! In this mode, the promotion, hold, and relegation system means that losing a match doesn’t eliminate your team from the season, giving you the opportunity to bounce back from defeats. Friendly Seasons allows you to challenge your Friends in a five-match season format. Keep track of your record and other stats against every one of your Friends, and win seasons to earn the Current Title Holder position and the bragging rights that come with it. When first starting, go to the store and cash in complimentary packs, then begin to beef up your franchise assets. In Single Player Tournaments, select from four ladders of 16 teams in a Road to the Finals atmosphere. Once again, players gain performance-based rewards in the form of coins and FIFA points.
The more you play, the more fun you’ll have in the transfer market. We’ll get onto buying and selling players, but the most natural way in which to find players and earn in-game coins is simply to play matches. Amassing a legion of bronze and silver players is rarely a blessing when it comes to performing on the pitch, but they can be a quick and easy way to increase your income by selling them in bulk as soon as you begin to collect a sufficient number of gold players.
Our tests were inconclusive on this matter but we believe that when we make a substitution, the player who goes in acquires the chemistry of the player who goes out and this way the team’s chemistry remains the same. The decisive moment for the chemistry definition should be the starting eleven set up. This means that, once the match has started, the chemistry values never change no matter what. This should be valid for all cases. Even if we put in a player that doesn’t have any relation with the others or if he’s put to play in a completely different position.
