Moving someone to a different position may cap the chemistry level of your team

FIFA 16 is already out; should we be excited, even though there's a new FIFA coming out each year? Obviously we should. It's the beautiful game after all (not considering Satan/Diego Costa here). There are a lot of changes that have been made to this year's FIFA, but none excites us more than the improved, in-game FUT mode. FIFA's FUT mode, also known as the Ultimate Team mode, opens you up to a number of possibilities, with changes and additions made so that you can get the best out of your roster. This involves building strong team chemistry, earning coins and acquiring packs of cards featuring different players. In the previous Ultimate Team games you first had to buy the players before you knew how they would fit in the team.

In FIFA 15 this is no longer the case. It's the ideal way to test the players you want to buy. You can explore which players fit together and how their chemistry is working together. Experiment with players from different competitions and try to put them on different positions. You probably think why should I focus on the manager. Well it helps when you have a manager from the same competition (league). For example, when you've got many players from the Bundesliga in your team. Then try to get a good manager who's also on a Bundesliga team. This will help to raise the individual chemistry of the players in your Ultimate Team. This also works on the nationality of the manager. If you have a lot of Spanish players in your team than get a Spanish manager as well.

First and most importantly, always put players in their natural positions to maximize chemistry. There’s no reason to be a mad scientist or GM, thinking the key to unlocking your FUT team is to build some strange mash-up. Moving someone to a different position may cap the chemistry level of you team. This aside, team chemistry is built on three fundamental pillars: country, league and active club. Pair players who belong to one of these same camps and you’re well on your way to becoming a sports chemist. For example, if your FUT team somehow acquires a key gold card player from the Barclays Premier League, do whatever it takes to surround this asset with people from the same league.

You may have played FUT Draft or even normal FUT matches for that matter and wondered why players pause the game at the first opportunity and sub certain players in. The reason this is done is to use the best possible squad you can, whilst keeping the highest chemistry. When you sub a player in FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry doesn’t change, as soon as the match starts all chemistry is locked. This is particularly useful in Draft mode as you will often have top-rated players on your bench that you couldn’t fit into your team purely because you didn’t want to play with low chemistry, all you have to do is sub the player in whenever you want and they should now perform to the best of their ability. Remember this tip and use it, because this really will give you best chance of progressing through your Draft and hopefully win the 4-in-a-row.

You could feasibly sacrifice a host of the bronze players you started out with and end up receiving an Eden Hazard in exchange. You could also end up with Joe Bloggs, but that’s beside the point. Selling your lesser players for coin makes more sense if you’re saving up for a specific target on the transfer market, but otherwise the exchange system is a fun and potentially effective method of getting hold of a marquee player. Whenever you first begin Ultimate Team, you’ll notice that players begin with a basic chemistry style of play on their respective card. You can, however, change their styles with chemistry items found in packs. How you style these players, however, is completely up to you and how you run your team. It would behoove you to use them wisely.

This shouldn’t be too hard a suggestion. The opportunity to build and create your own team in multiple facets is half the joy of FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Draft Mode. Add in the new draft mode, and you’ve got a recipe for hours upon hours of fun.
