Skype will have native integration in Windows 10 for video calls
Skype Credit Microsoft will add some shortcuts to the Windows 10 operating system for you to make quick audio or video calls on Skype. To this end the company included buttons that streamline the use of the messenger's "Meet Now" feature in one of the new platform updates.
Skype Meet Now allows anyone to easily setup video meetings with no sign ups or downloads. Users just need to generate their free unique link with one click share it with participants and enjoy meetings with Skype. This is not a light-weight version of Skype instead they can enjoy full set of features like call recording background blur and more.
It is worth noting that you do not need a Skype account to use the Meetings feature. To create a video conference users just need to generate a unique link and share it with the participants. If the Skype client is not installed on the user's device then clicking on the link will open the web version of Skype.
The feature appeared in Insider Preview Build 20211 recently released to developers and is not yet predicted to reach the stable version of the platform.
