The fact that EA have given the market a 15 Million coin cap, means that they must have predicted coin selling, buying, farming ect. You could play 1,000 games, at an average of 500 coins per game, and still only end up with 500,000 coins (not even accounting for buying players, contracts, fitness cards ect.). Taking into consideration that the average FUT player will play about 300 games in total, and even "Professional" FIFA players (YouTubers and such) will barely play 600 games, I don't belive by just playing games, anyone will achieve over 250,000 coins.
What all this means is, there is no way in hell that anybody will ever be able to rack up 15 million coins. "What about getting Pele in a pack?" - Well, where would anyone else get the coins to buy the Pele?
The only way anybody would ever be able to afford 15 million coins, without 'illegally' purchasing them, would be to buy an unbearable amount of fifa points, opening a stupid amount of packs, and selling the worthless players for the discard price, which would cost you roughly in the region of about A LOT OF DAMN MONEY, which is, unfortunately for EA, not what people want to pay just to sample players.
The solution for the coin buying dilemma, would be to have a player store, where you can buy any player you so desire, for coins, or fifa points, or if you don't want to pay however much the player is worth, you could try your hand at opening packs, which could be sorted into leagues/nationalities rather that just the colour of the card they have.
What do you think about putting a cap on the price of a player. Kompany can be sold max for 25,000 coins, Ramos for max of 65,000 coins, Messi for max of 300,000 coins and Balotelli for max of 3,000 coins and so on. Each player has a max value which would give players of the game a goal they can try to reach. this makes things attainable. limits would have to be set accordingly, so not all players can have a Messi card. After playing 500 matches, you should get rewarded in some way.
I play faithfully every night for about 1-2 hours since the game was released. i have just over 500 matches played. i am in division 1 in seasons and need 2 more games to win the title. I believe a nice reward for winning division 1 would be a great incentive. i have never bought any coins, not that i haven't checked it out and almost broke down and done it. Very tempting though. i do have Aguero, Di Maria, Rooney, Sturridge, Ozil, Kompany, Schurrle, among 30 other decent players. i have good teams, but i will never be able to own some of the good IF's or Legends cards without buying coins. Players of the game should be able to achieve these players.
